Description: The rainy season was just ending during my master’s research, and the grass was still very lush – perfect for predators to hide in. We were driving around and by chance I looked to my left and saw this young cheetah briefly popping up. We slammed on the breaks so fast just in time to capture this youngster before it disappeared again.
