Description: It was my first day in Point Reyes, which is known as the “Serengeti” of California, and I was excited to see and photograph Californian wildlife. We came across this American Kestrel, which are tiny raptors that are no bigger than your hand. This one was perched on a little twig, taking a rest and allowed us to photograph him. I love it when they fluff up like this!
