My “Inquisitive” Encounter (Prices and Sizes Below):
It was our first evening in the Masai Mara in Kenya and we were graced by the presence of this impressive male lion. He was just waking up from his afternoon nap and the wind started to pick up, blowing a storm towards us. He picked up a scent and started walking down the hill. He then started to come straight at me, and I kept on firing off my camera as he got bigger, and bigger...and BIGGER in the frame! I looked up and he was standing a few feet from the car, looking at me with his head tilted to one side. I didn’t move, but I smiled with exhilaration. Then he carried on. I knew I had to paint him being inquisitive.
