*What is "Rolled/Loose Canvas"? - NOT wrapped or stretched over bars/wooden frame. It's just the canvas that can be rolled and shipped into a tube! This is a cheaper option and can still be framed very nicely
Title: Elephants on the Horizon
Location: Amboseli National Park, Kenya - 2023
Description: I heard and saw images of the devastating drought that took place in Amboseli last year. I was prepared to see some pretty rough scenes when I visited a few weeks ago. It was hard to see the countless carcasses decorating the arid landscape. Normally, there would have been hundreds of elephants in one spot but our guide confessed that many elephants moved to areas that had more food. Fortunately, we still saw elephants but hopefully this image is a sign for better rains ahead. Image was taken using a cable release and a monopod attached to the top of the lens via the tripod mount - this was to achieve a low angle without getting out of the car.
