My Time with a Rescued Wolf:
Back in High School, I volunteered at a wildlife rescue in the canyons of Los Angeles. These animals were illegally trafficked or were as illegal pets. I got to work with mountain lions, bobcats, foxes, raptors, and a beautiful white wolf, named Moon. He loved back scratches (through the fence) and his meat. But I could never get over how big and tall he was! Just a beautiful creature.
Wolf symbolism and meaning includes loyalty, family and friendship, teamwork, protection, wildness, freedom, instincts, playfulness, and other noble traits. Wolves put their family first. So, the spirit of the wolf is a reminder to all of us that the greatest gifts in life are your relationships with those you love. The wolf asks: Do you put them first?
